Bohemian Ceramic Vase Set
Three ceramic vases with the slightly irregular, handmade look that makes a shelf feel lived in rather than styled. The forms are rounded and a little unequal, so standing them together gives you height and shadow without any one piece shouting. They hold a room together in the way a good bowl of fruit does: you notice the arrangement before you notice the objects, and an empty console suddenly looks like somebody lives there.
The ceramic body is finished in a soft, chalky white or a deep matte black, both of them quiet under daylight and warmer under a lamp. Small variations in the surface are part of the character rather than a fault, and the necks are narrow enough to hold a few stems upright without a frog or foam. Bases are flat and weighted, so the tallest piece stays put on an open shelf or a mantel edge.
Use the trio in a living room, a bedroom or an entry, or split them across a wedding or dinner table as low centrepieces that do not block a conversation. Dried pampas, eucalyptus and bare branches suit them best; for fresh flowers, check the interior glaze first or use a slim glass liner. They are an easy gift for a new home, and they sit naturally with the rest of Urban Arcadia.
