Lucent Rechargeable Bedside Lamp

A small lamp with a clear, faceted shade that treats light as decoration. Switched on, the transparent shade catches and scatters the LED into soft highlights across the tabletop, so the lamp reads as an object rather than a fitting. It suits a bedside, a dressing table or a shelf where you want a low glow through the evening and something good-looking in place during the day.

The shade is a transparent moulded piece set on a coloured base, available in black, white, red and blue. Inside is an integrated LED tuned to a gentle, low-glare output rather than a harsh working brightness. The lamp is rechargeable, so once charged it can be carried to a windowsill, a dinner table or a sheltered balcony with no cord trailing behind it, then set back down and topped up again later.

Use it as a bedside light, a mood lamp on a console, or a portable glow for a table outdoors on a still, dry evening. It fits small bedrooms, studios and rented flats where the fixed lighting is limited, and it looks right next to glass, chrome and pale timber. For anyone assembling an Urban Arcadia bedroom, it is the easy final layer after the ceiling light and the floor lamp.
